Philippe Dufresne, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, has issued a statement to celebrate the Canada Data Privacy Week with the concrete example of the effectiveness of its office operations. The Commissioner detailed that Home Depot was transferring data traffic information of its customers to Meta, without the consent of the customers.
