The Spanish DPA (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos – AEPD) has today awarded the ‘Data Protection Awards 2022 ‘, which recognize in different categories the works that further promote both the dissemination and knowledge of the fundamental right to data protection and its practical application. The Awards include categories such as ‘Proactivity and Good Practices in compliance with the European Data Protection Regulation and the Spanish Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights’, the ‘Good educational practices in privacy and protection of personal data for a safe use of the Internet by minors’, and the ‘Entrepreneurship in personal data protection’.
