Viktoriya Veleva

Bio

Viktoriya Veleva is a Senior Associate at Dimitrov, Petrov & Co. Law Firm and a trusted advisor to leading international clients on a broad range of technology-driven legal matters, including data protection, IP & tech transfer, AI, digital services, pharma & life sciences, and gaming & entertainment.

She is a core member of the firm’s Data Breach Response Team and leads extensive data protection audits and due diligence for enterprise clients. Her experience also includes advising the Balkan Blockchain Association dedicated to advancing the blockchain and start-up ecosystem in Southeast Europe, where she actively contributed to the Association’s engagement with industry and public-sector working groups, including the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA).

As part of the European Commission’s Blue Book Program, Viktoriya served as a Project Officer on an EU-funded project supported by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA), which brings valuable public sector insight. Beyond her legal practice, Viktoriya is a keynote speaker at conferences, seminars and professional training sessions on data protection and intellectual property law.

She also serves as a guest lecturer at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.
