Michal Nulíček focuses on legal advice in the field of IT law, personal data protection, intellectual property, as well as in the field of competition law, compliance and all areas of regulation. His clients are Czech and international companies from the IT, telecommunications, online services, financial services and energy sectors.
Michal has experience in representing clients not only before Czech regulators, other authorities and courts (including the Supreme, Supreme Administrative and Constitutional Court), but also before European courts. The value of disputes in which Michal has represented his clients has reached tens of billions of CZK.
Michal Nulíček also received part of his legal education in England and at the Central European University in Budapest. Before joining ROWAN LEGAL he worked for 10 years at the international law firm Hogan Lovells.
Michal is a frequent speaker at local and international conferences, is the lead author of the first Czech commentary on the GDPR, comments on the Czech Personal Data Processing Act (both published by Wolters Kluwer) and co-author of a number of other publications. Michal is a member of IAPP, the International Association for the Protection of Personal Data, and a Certified Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).
