Bio

Bartosz Sujecki, PhD, is partner at Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the head of the IP/IT department of Van Diepen Van de Kroef Advocaten. He is admitted to the Dutch and the German Bar and specializes in the field of intellectual property, IT-law and tech related commercial litigation.

Bartosz Sujecki studied German and Dutch law at the Leibnitz Universität Hannover, Germany, the Rijksuniversiteit Gronigen, the Netherlands, and the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2008, he has obtained a PhD on a comparative study on the introduction of electronic court proceedings from the Universiteit Utrecht.

Bartosz Sujecki publishes frequently over cross border litigation, intellectual property law and IT law in national and international law journals. With more than 150 publications, he is considered to be one of the experts in the field of cross border (tech)litigation in the EU. Bartosz Sujecki is a frequent speaker on conferences and trainings courses for lawyers and judges, such as the European Academy of Law, the Deutsche Richterakademie, the Dutch SSR, the New York State Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and the ITechLaw.

Bartosz Sujecki is a member of the IBA, INTA and ITechLaw. He is also a member of the German GRUR and DGRI association as well as the Dutch NVvIR association.
