Gene has substantial real-world experience in cybersecurity and data privacy. He focuses on Frost Brown Todd’s privacy and data security practice and incident response planning. Gene also represents clients regarding insurance and business claims, maritime matters, cybersecurity and data audits and certifications. Recently retired from the U.S. Navy as a Rear Admiral after 36 years of service, Gene returned to fulltime work as a civilian attorney in 2022. He devotes his time to counseling clients in cybersecurity compliance, data management, and privacy issues at the state and federal levels. Drawing on his experience in the firm’s litigation department, he represents clients in data breach matters, matters relating to first and third-party insurance claims, and all levels of maritime concerns, including liability, cybersecurity, and compliance.
