PrivacyRules is pleased to announce the upcoming Cyber Resilience and Crisis Leadership Conference 2026, taking place on 24 July 2026 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The event is organised by PrivacyRules and OrionW, bringing together regulators, privacy professionals, cybersecurity leaders, legal experts, compliance officers, risk managers, General Counsel, and senior executives for a full day dedicated to cyber resilience and crisis leadership.
Strengthening cyber resilience through practical leadership
As cyber incidents become increasingly complex, organizations need more than policies and response plans. They need practical decision-making capabilities, board-level coordination, regulatory awareness, and clear crisis communication strategies. This conference is designed to help participants strengthen those capabilities through expert-led discussions, peer exchange, and hands-on learning.
A key highlight of the event will be the Live Cyber Crisis Simulation, an immersive exercise where participants will work in teams through a realistic data breach scenario. The simulation will challenge attendees to coordinate cybersecurity response, legal and regulatory obligations, executive escalation, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications under pressure.
Key topics on the conference agenda
The conference agenda will address some of the most pressing issues facing organizations today, including AI governance and responsible deployment, cross-border data transfers, global cybersecurity and privacy governance frameworks, and critical decision-making during the first 24 hours of a data breach. Sessions will provide practical insights on how organizations can manage fast-evolving cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory risks while building greater operational resilience.
Participants will also receive access to a practical Cyber Crisis Workbook, designed to support preparation for and response to cyber incidents. The programme will provide valuable opportunities for executive networking with regulators, senior industry leaders, and professionals from across the APAC privacy, cybersecurity, legal, and risk management community.
International speakers, regulators and industry leaders
The event will feature distinguished members of the PrivacyRules global alliance, including Winnie Chang of OrionW in Singapore, Padraig Walsh of Tanner De Witt in Hong Kong, Dr. Volker Wodianka of Wodianka privacy legal GmbH in Germany, Gayathri Poti of Kochhar & Co. in India, Geert Somers of Timelex in Belgium, Estelle Seiler of Eiger in Taiwan, and Gene F. Price of FBT Gibbons in the United States.
The conference will also welcome prominent regulators and industry leaders, including Shariffah Rashidah Syed Othman, Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia; Jose Sutton Belarmino II, Deputy Privacy Commissioner of the Philippines; Bianca Villarama, Director, Regulatory & Privacy at Tala in the Philippines; and Oliver Budgen, CEO of Bud Communications in Singapore.
